Situated near the community of Hay Lakes, Alberta, Busy Bee Fam has been a project of devotion since 2008. After a decade of working Bees both in Alberta and New Zealand, Mike DeJong, along with his wife, Jenny, embarked upon creating Busy Bee Farm with a wealth of knowledge gained from years of hard work and experience. Farming is constantly evolving, and so id Busy Bee Farm. With a necessity to stay ahead in methods and technology, the farm keeps itself modern by perpetually upgrading. From manipulating bees to process modifications, each year the farm discovers new methods of efficiency through better practice. 20 years experience and active member in Alberta Bee Keepers commission.

Having 20 years experience and an active member in the Alberta Beekeepers Commission, Busy Bee Farm is proud to work with surrounding community farmers to bring them the bees that help maximize various crop yields and enhance the general ecosystem. With compassion and respect for the people and the land in where Busy Bee Farm’s hives are placed, important relationships are cultivated across the province. It is with this passion and devotion that Busy Bee Farm producers an honest natural honey product and provides a high quality pollination service.
